Laura Meadows
Worship Coordinator
A Eucharistic Minister is a lay person who is authorized to administer the consecrated wine at a Celebration of Holy Eucharist. This role is also referred to as Chalice Assistant. A Eucharistic Minister may also be licensed by the Bishop to administer both the consecrated wine and bread and celebrate Holy Eucharist while bringing the sacrament to parishioners who were unable to be present at the celebration in person because of illness or infirmity. A Eucharistic Minister acts under the direction of the clergy or other leader exercising oversight of the congregation. If you are interested in becoming a Chalice Bearer or a Eucharistic Minister, please contact Laura Meadows.
